The best way to add offline donations to your page is by paying these into GiveWheel. We’ll then handle passing these to your charities at the correct % split. Not only does this save you from making manual transfers to charities, but is often beneficial to the charities themselves to centralise their reporting.
To pay in donations to your fundraising page, you can simply hit the 'Donate' button on your fundraising and follow the usual donation flow. If you do not wish to add a name/message to your donation, simply leave these fields blank and the donation will be shown as anonymous on your fundraising page.
Where the amount you're paying in is greater than £500.00, we'll automatically offer the option to pay in via bank transfer if preferred. Learn more about donating via bank transfer
You generally should not claim Gift Aid when paying in offline donations, and HMRC require individual donor details.
If you have raised funds offline and paid these to your chosen charities directly, you can still manually update the total displayed on your fundraising page. Simply update the offline donations total directly underneath your total raised.
