GiveWheel handles disbursements to all chosen organisations, and no action is required from the fundraiser in order to transfer funds to charities.
In the vast majority of cases, UK charities will receive funds on a monthly basis, even while a fundraiser is ongoing. We payout on the 1st of each month with all funds we're holding, aggregated across all pages on GiveWheel. We process monthly payouts to charities via either our non-profit disbursement partner Charities Trust or Stripe. You can read more about our disbursement processes at the below article:
On rare occasions we will payout to organisation manually in one lump sum at the end of the fundraising event. In this case, our team will be in touch with the charity to confirm their bank details shortly before the closure of the fundraising event and funds will be transferred upon our next monthly disbursement after the closure of the fundraising page. This would usually be the case for international charities, small/local UK charities or organisations who are not a registered charity.
